I'm a little lost in my thoughts. 6 weeks ago, Alexandra asked us to do a mind mapping, afterwards I showed her the page number 1, on this page I wrote down everything I had in mind.

First of all I don't know which one I should choose, so if I did choose one, weirdly I still like working on others too! I don't know how to reduce all of these topics so that I can focus on just one thing.
And on the other hand, I wonder what are the relations of these subjects with graphics! They have nothing to do with the graphic design!

At the same time, I unconsciously think about my final project. Like, if I chose censorship, maybe I can make a font using 3D printing that we can manipulate words by changing the shape of the letter, or about censorship, maybe I can make a video, or photos, but how or what would I show in the video or the photo?!, etc etc

The fact that I am writing a memoire on X subject and at the end what if I could not relate my memory to my final project?! This question scares me very much. Because if they wont be related, I wouldn't have time to research something totally new as a final project.

And on the second page, actually it was Alexandra who wrote these notes, and she ended up with this idea that I should be working on collective and individual memory and trauma response, and then she eliminated individual memory and the trauma. We decided not to go into it because it concerns my personal experiences and the post-war effects that I still have. So she just chose collective trauma and collective memory, and some sub-topics, like war, censorship, the power of words, and some kinds of war-related mental illness.

But again each of these sub-topics are really vast to work with, in fact each of them could be a main topic in my opinion, like censorship, what will I go I working on?! censorship in the media in general, all over the world, media in Iran?, censorship of images and books ?!
